PassTheScan provides an AI-powered resume optimization service that:

  • Analyzes uploaded resume documents for ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility
  • Identifies and suggests modifications to reduce age-revealing signals
  • Provides keyword optimization recommendations based on job descriptions
  • Generates optimized resume versions in PDF and Word formats
  • Offers detailed rationales for suggested changes
  • Provides ATS parsing verification and formatting improvements

Service Limitations

Our Service is designed to improve resume presentation and ATS compatibility. We explicitly state that:

  • No Employment Guarantees: We do not guarantee job interviews, offers, or employment outcomes
  • Bias Mitigation, Not Elimination: We help reduce age-revealing signals but cannot eliminate all forms of potential bias
  • Improvement Focus: Our goal is to enhance resume quality and relevance, not guarantee specific results
  • User Control: All suggested changes are optional and require your approval

Eligibility and Account Registration

  • Professional Processing: $79 per resume analysis (2-hour enhanced review)
  • Executive Processing: $129 per resume analysis (4-hour executive review)
  • No Subscription Fees: Pay per analysis with no recurring charges
  • No Hidden Costs: All fees are clearly stated upfront

Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • We accept major credit cards and debit cards
  • Payment is required before analysis begins
  • All transactions are processed in USD
  • You will receive a receipt via email for all payments

Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Technical failure preventing service delivery
  • Duplicate charges due to processing errors
  • Service unavailable due to our system issues
  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase
  • Refunds are not available for completed analyses that meet our service standards

User Content and Data

Your Resume Data

When you upload content to our Service:

Results Disclaimer

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PassTheScan regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may freely assign our rights and obligations under these Terms.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, or internet service disruptions.
