At PassTheScan, we stand behind the quality of our AI-powered resume optimization service. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If you are not satisfied with your resume analysis for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase date.

This guarantee applies to all three service tiers:

  • Instant Resume Analysis ($49): report + ATS-optimized resume
  • Professional Resume Analysis ($79): report + JD-tailored resume + cover letter
  • Executive Resume Analysis ($129): comprehensive report + JD-tailored resume + cover letter

We believe in earning your trust through results, not restrictive policies.

Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • Your refund request is submitted within 7 calendar days of your original purchase date.
  • You have not previously received a refund for the same analysis session.
  • The purchase was made through our official website at passthescan.com.

No reason is required for refund requests made within the 7-day window. We respect your decision and process all eligible refunds promptly.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you may use any of the following methods:

  1. In-App Request: Navigate to your analysis session and click the "Request Refund" button. This is the fastest method.
  2. Email: Send a refund request to support@passthescan.com with your purchase email address and session ID.
  3. Support Ticket: Submit a support ticket through our Support Center with the category "Billing".

Please include your account email address so we can locate your purchase quickly.

Refund Processing Timeline

Once your refund request is approved:

  • Processing time: Refunds are initiated within 1-2 business days of approval.
  • Bank processing: Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 5-10 business days to reflect the refund on your statement.
  • Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.

All refunds are processed through Stripe, the same payment processor used for your original purchase. The refund will be returned to the original payment method.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may not be available in the following situations:

  • The refund request is made more than 7 days after the purchase date.
  • Evidence of abuse, such as repeated purchases and refunds to access the service for free.
  • Chargebacks filed with your bank without first contacting us (we encourage you to reach out directly for faster resolution).

Partial Refunds

In cases where the 7-day window has passed but extenuating circumstances exist, we may offer partial refunds or service credits at our discretion. These are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

If you purchased add-on services (cover letter generation, LinkedIn optimization) separately from your main analysis, each purchase has its own 7-day refund window.
